How it works

Obfuscation is a release step: transform a working Roblox Luau script, then verify the generated result in its real environment.

The workflow

1Keep a known-good source file and a backup outside the workspace.
2Choose protection options in the dashboard or as API query parameters.
3AntiLua processes the source through its compiler and protection pipeline, then returns generated Luau.
4Save and test the protected output before using it in a release.

Protection layers

VM-oriented transformations

Purpose: Change the representation and execution structure of the generated program.

Source string protection

Purpose: Enabled by Intense VM Structure or Fast runtime.

Function proxification

Purpose: Enabled by either of the two main protection controls.

Anti-tamper

Purpose: Controlled by the map query parameter for API requests; enabled by default.

Performance and correctness

Stronger or repeated transformations can increase build time, generated size and runtime cost. Using Intense VM Structure with Fast runtime may slow script execution. Compare the result with your unobfuscated build.

A successful build or a changing output does not prove a particular resistance to reverse engineering. Keep privileged decisions and secrets on a server you control.
